We are a B2B consultant and we have a client who has the following requirements:An upload field to submit ID and Passport copies Upon upload, the ID or Passport is read using document reading or OCR. The data is parsed, mapped and then placed in appropriate fields on the form. (e.g. Name, Passport Number, Date of Birth, Issue and Expiry dates)We would like to know if the community can advise if these requirements can be achieved through Typeform and/or using any other third party solutions.
It would appear that even when questions are * required you can still scroll down, avoid answering them and submit. I read the help article on this and said the questions would reappear at the end if you didn’t answer prior to submitting but that didn’t happen. Any ideas here of how to make the questions actually mandatory? Thanks,Mary
Hi!How can I create layers of logic in a form?Say I want some conditional logic with certain sublayers.e.g.I'd have the first question as Cats vs Dogs, and if you choose Cats, you'd get 4 more specific questions. If you choose Dogs, you' get 4 different ones. Here I can jump or skip them, sure. But if say on question 3 of Cats, I'd want to show another 3 sub-questions or fields, if I want?I'd like to make multi-level branches of conditional formatting for the input fields.Would appreciate some input from you all!Thank you!Valter
I’m looking to create a calculator, ideally it will take input and output in Pound Sterling, but not necessary.Essentially it needs to accomplish:((Field Ax4.49)-(Field Bx5%)+(Field Cx50%))Where the Fields are a whole number of any length.I can’t see a reasonable way to accomplish this on the new builder or classic, fudging it as a quiz is no help either. Is this possible with Typeform?
I want to create a document for our clients, it’s called Charter Preference List. It’s a 20 pages document in pdf format with different types of questionaries and boxes our clients have to fill with information. I want to create a Form for this document so we can send it to our clients and receive enough info for the charters we sell. Some pages must have multiple questions and options for answers but I cant find the right template here to do this. Then other pages must be like yes or no questions and other pages have checkboxes. What would you recommend me? Thank you!
Hello community, a pleasure to say hello.I have a question regarding the assignment of logic in the questions. Can I assign a logic that if in a question I answer "yes" or more than one answer, omit in the form questions 10, 11, 56, for example?
It seems that I cannot translate the “continue” button to german, is that correct?
Hi Community, I might be going completely blind, but how do you delete a typeform survey? I can only get it to stop receiving responses but not delete it. Thank you so much.

I want to question my customers (more than 1k) why they didn’t buy. I’m new in eCommerce, so I’d appreciate any help with the questions (other than the ones in the survey template). Also, is there way I can connect a discount code (or something) I can attach for those who answer and return the survey?

When you are mapping the answers to questions in an Outcome quiz (using the simple logic within Typeform), what is the ‘default’ routing that Typeform implements if there is a tie in the outcome-mapping scoring? For example:this quiz has three questions but only one is mapped to the three possible outcomes, so there is no chance of a tie. a variation of the same quiz, here, has mappings for all three questions pointing to the appropriate ending. If you manage to pick answers that result in a 3-way tie (in this example that is easy to replicate with only three questions - see the mapping logic below and choose an answer from each question that points to a different category/ending), it seems to automatically go to ending A, the first one in the list. Is this the default for the Outcome Quiz logic, regardless of how many questions are mapped, if there is a tie? ie always to ending A?
Relative Date ValidationI’d like to be able to validate the answer to a Date Question, so that only the following is accepted:Current or next week Excluding ‘today’ and ‘tomorrow’ Excluding weekends, so Saturday and SundayIn other words, where today is ‘t’, t+2 to t+14 excl. weekends. All other dates would then be routed to an ‘error’ page. Any tips or tricks to help me out here? P.S. I know that I could manually update a Typeform daily, but that creates an excessive amount of work and a high risk of manual error.
I have a Start plan and want to add a Thank You screen, but that isn’t showing as an option in my drop down list of questions. I am confused about the naming of your plans because much of your help guidance refers to Classic and Pro plans, but there is no mention of a Start plan.
Hi. I would like to be able to assign multiple scores to a single answer. For example, lets say that I have 6 score categories or buckets and each answer to a question will add a certain score to each of those ‘categories/buckets’. So answer A. might add 1 point to category 1, two points to category 2 etc. The form I need to build is more nuanced than simply saying answer A is a score for category 1. Is this possible? thanks
Hi,I have a form where user can add product one by one. But the problem is after entering details of one product, i gives an option of add another product. if yes, then they goes back to first question. But the first product is already there. What should i do?Please helpThanks in advance
Hi, Guys. When I send the survey, one of the multiple choice answers appears highlighted (as shown in the picture). There’s an way to change that? We also see ‘key’ next to the option, can this be removed?
I use Typeform as a registration form for an event. The registrants should enter their email address. A confirmation email should be sent automatically to the entered email address. Does this work with Typeform?
Hi We have a unique use-case. We are using Typeform to give our sales team a way to profile a lead when they engage with it. To do this, we’ve created a button in salesforce that opens the typeform url and passes 5 hidden fields:username first last company emailThese are used to say “hi” to the user (username) and to confirm that they are trying to fill out a lead questionnaire for the appropriate lead (first, last, company and email). These are also used to sync the subsequent answers back to salesforce. My question is this. When I map my typeform answers back to salesforce, I want to OMIT the “username” question. I can’t seem to be able to do that, however, and when I don’t map it, I get an “Exception: List index out of bounds: 5” error. My assumption is that the “5” is because I am only mapping some of the fields? or is there something else going on?This error only showed up after I added the “username” hidden field that is not mapped going back to salesforce Thanks Walter
Hi, I want to automate hidden fields. I saw the following video. https://help.typeform.com/hc/en-us/articles/360029293412-Automated-Hidden-Fields-with-MailChimpHowever, Mailchimp is not appropriate tool for me since I have to communicate my customer by typeform, not by an email. The video said I can automate hidden fields with other tools such as salesforce etc. Please tell me how can I automate hidden fields with such tools.Thank you a lot. Best Regards,Emily
Hi! I'm on the Plus account and enabled personal subdomain. But I don’t have the option to customize the link for my forms. I mean the last part of it. I can only edit link preview. So my form link looks like this:https://epicur.typeform.com/to/M2reY7RqAnd i want the last part to be /to/survey
Hi, I know there is a topic about “multiple lines with input for number”, but in my case I want the same but for text input and really want to avoid several text input questions, ie. I want to ask one single question with sub-answers such as: How to you like your drink?Option 1: In a glass Y/N. Please provide the color: TEXT INPUTOption 2: With ice cubes Y/N. Please provide the number of cubes: TEXT INPUTOption 3: Take-away Y/N. Please provide the day/hour: TEXT INPUT Any solution except the text input one? Thx!
When using logic, what is the best way to jump to the end of a survey after a short answer question? The options are: “is equal to” “is not equal to” “begins with” “ends with” “contains” Then choose what question you want to jump to. which of course then I choose the submit for survey option but finding that respondents are getting to the other portion of the logic which is causing difficulties. Of course I can add in a bunch of conditions to ensure that respondent will always get to the end, but wouldn't it just be easier to just have an “always jump to button”? Let me know if you're having this problem to or have a better solution.
