Integrate your videoask

Hello Community :-)  I would like to translate my respondent’s answers into a visual presentation using Google Slides. i.e. I would like to pull any text, images, videos and audio clips that are submitted into a unique slide deck for each respondent. These are the steps I’ve taken so far:Using Zapier, I created a Zap that creates a new slide deck from a template when a response is submitted  Using Zapier, I have pulled through the text into the slidesI then ran into a couple of issues. I can only pull through the URL of the any media that is submitted, rather than the files themselvesThere was no URL available to pull through for images - only answer ID, Answer timestamp, Question overlay text, Question title and Question type. Can anyone advise me on the most efficient method for automating the embedding of images, video and audio into the slide deck?  Thank you

I’ve embedded videoask widget in my site and it works fine. I get the messages as instructed here:https://www.videoask.com/help/embed/360048142672-advanced-embed-options#callbacks.When the message “videoask_submitted”, I don’t see anywhere to get the interaction id. How can I get the interaction?

Hello, I was able to add videos captured in videoask to my youtube account, through integration with zapier. But how to make the video be placed in a playlist, is there any way?Awaiting. Thanks.

Can anyone help with the question below ↓I want to fully set up Videoask for my users to have a full control to create and manage their accounts and set up questions logic, etc. on external web-site via API. Is there a possibility to do this and have a full-management mechanism through API calls?I just need to provide a possibility for users (employers) interact with flows without re-directing users to Videoask web-site. In order to them to be creating and managing question flows for their candidates etc.

I’m trying to pass the “Score” to my CRM from my Video Ask, but in Zapier, the score doesn’t seem to be passing through? Am I missing something? Hey - I have a VideoAsk widget embedded on my sales page, asking people if they want to book a call with me, but when testing I realised the coffee video is just a distraction. How can I remove the coffee video and have it just go straight to the Calendly times after they click the button?  Can that be done? 

Hey Videoask peeps!Question for you – I want to embed/link a videoask into my welcome email sequence in Flodesk (my ESP), does anyone know if this is possible? Saw the guide for partial embed in gmail etc but I want it automated as part of my mailing list onboarding campaign. I think this may be a limitation at Flodesk’s end as they have a video URL block in their email creator but not an embed option… Just thought I’d check in case one of you managed to conquer this little challenge already 😅TIA!

We’ve tried several different iOS devices (iPad and iPhone) and every one is telling us that we haven’t enabled camera & microphone permissions. We are using the iframe method of embedding.The error message that appears is:“NotAllowedError - The request is not allowed by the user agent or the platform in the current context, possibly because the user denied permission.SAFARI - MAC- PERMISSION_DENIED_BROWSER_ERROR”On one iPad (5th gen) I’ve set both camera and microphone to Allow rather than askI’ve tried on an Android phone (Moto g(8)power (Android 11) and that is opening the videoAsk website in a separate tab. I know this can be caused by the lack of valid SSL but SSL is present and on one of the test instances I know we have a completely valid certificate matching the domain perfectly.

Hi I’m looking to setup a trigger when someone submits a lead. I found this like with different videoask events: https://www.videoask.com/help/tracking/360050394351-connect-google-analytics-google-tag-manager-and-facebook-pixel And was wondering what the trigger in GTM should be to pick up the lead submit. This image below is how the trigger is currently setup to pick up when someone ONLY submits a lead. IS this the correct setup with the “Custom Event” trigger type?

When I test my video ask, you see briefly the landscape video before it flipped to responsive. I know there was a bug fixed pushed from what I was told last month, but it appears that didn’t fix it on this device - I was just looking for an update on if a fix is in the que or if I have to just deal with the sloppy and launch? Here is a sample  

I would like to know if there is a VideoAsk Kids, Safe Mode, or another option that is COPPA compliant. I would love to use VideoAsk for direct-to-youth engagement but lack of disclosure around COPPA is a barrier.

We’re embedding response videos into our app and our users have shared that the autoplay functionality is distracting. To be clear, the audio is not playing, but the video plays without sounds as soon as you load the page. I want to create a videoask that presents on the homepage that asking 2-3 question alternatives that are clickable - kind of a “what would you like to know today?”  I think of lots of questions but need to be limited to 2-3.  So I am wondering how I would measure the effectiveness of the questions.  What questions are getting the most clicks?

We consistently explore and find out new customers and new clients.  We have arrangement a VideoAsk to get familiar with a portion of their image inclinations.The reactions are then shipped off Google Drive where we have a couple of robotisation arrangement to create a brand profile. Nonetheless, in the event that we get a fragmented accommodation (because of a client leaving the page prior to finishing), it breaks the computerisation.Is there a way that we can sift through the inadequate reactions (utilising labels or potentially zapier) so just the total reactions are shipped off Google Drive? I would like to discuss this more here. 

Hey community I just dropped my VideoAsk flow onto my homepage - but in the iframe the video element is blocking the image in Chrome and Safari, and as it has a black background.https://darkside.ltdLooks like it’s some sort of CSS bug.Now I’ve run into problems like this before by using meta colour-scheme for native darkmode UI components.<meta name="color-scheme" content="dark light">So I removed it.No idea what it could be, totally ruins the whole thing. 

Our company works with a number of different brands. We have setup a VideoAsk in order to learn some of their brand preferences. The responses are then sent to Google Drive where we have a few automations setup to generate a brand profile. However, if we receive an incomplete submission (due to a user leaving the page before completing), it breaks the automations. Is there a way that we can filter out the incomplete responses (using tags and/or zapier) so that only the complete responses are sent to Google Drive?

Hi,We’ve embedded the video code onto our website and we also want to pass trough the variables that we use in the video. What we currently have is https://website.nl/action/#contact_name=Test.  I do not understand how to read the “results” page.  When I look at my first ask, it appears that the majority of users click “How do I qualify for social security disability benefits”.  But when I look at that ask, “Qualify” I get a response of “This step has no answers yet”.  I don’t understand.  Is this saying that everyone who went to ask “qualify” abandoned?  

Hi all,Quick question that I need to finalise my POC here. I am wanting to implement Videoask within my webpage, but as I need to go from one video ask to another (longer, more complex interraction), I need the video asks to open in the same iframe.  Normally by default this should happen, but here I see the video ask ALWAYS opens completely replacing the page it was originally embedded into. Can anyone help? Is this linked to how Video Ask has coded the link? or am i missing something?I am simply using the iframe code generated by video ask. Best,Stephan​

We are having an issue where our videoask will restart if it gets close to the time limit. However, its only doing that on mobile. Is there a reason for this? 

We use Videoask embedded in our application to allow applicants and employers to exchange questions and answers. Today one of our candidates hit a screen asking her to confirm her email address.Hi--I am attempting to record a video, and hitting something unusual. The record window was flashing on and off, then a new notice window popped up saying it was sending an email to verify my access? Could not complete video recording. This is the first I’ve heard of this and as you can see in the screenshot, there is no email included. It says “We have sent an email to .”Is this a bug? Anyway around it? I’m concerned it’s going to hurt her ability to land the job if she can’t respond to the employer in a timely manner.
