Happy May, Typeformers! With a new month comes new announcements, and with heavy hearts, we are depreciating Chat UI. What began as an internal experiment blossomed into a new type of interaction for your respondents. While we’ve loved having many of you utilize Chat UI in your businesses, we haven’t found it increasing your response rates as we’d like.  Here’s everything you need to know about Chat UI sunsetting: The whyThere are a few reasons why we’ve decided to part ways with the Chat UI. The most important reason is that we’ve found low usage and completion rates for those who have turned their Typeforms into the Chat UI. Hola hola, Typeformers! Our product team is back with a handy new feature some of you have been requesting - the ability to see when your team members last logged into their account.  If you’re on our Plus plan or higher, you automatically have access to this feature now in your account.  To find when a user last logged in, First, go to your account settings  Then, click on Organization Settings → Members  Finally, you’ll be able to see the last login date of each organization member.   Easy as summer pie! Hey, Typeformers! If you love spending time in Gmail but want to organize it like a CRM system, then check out our new Streak integration.  Streak is a handy Gmail add-on that allows you to organize your inbox according to your business, whether that’s tracking leads, managing projects, hiring talent,, or anything else your business needs. Typeformers, we’re officially into the summer season! For those of you who are still working this summer season, we’ve released a bunch of new features to help you breeze through your form creation so you can spend more time outdoors.  With that, let’s take a peek at what our product team dropped last month! Google Drive V2 Our Google Drive integration has been updated and made much easier to use. Hello, wonderful Typeform community! If you read our post here or attended our webinar last month, you might have seen us using a new AI feature, Smart Content Optimization. If you’re wondering what on Earth this is, you’re in for a treat! Writing questions succinctly isn’t everyone’s strongest quality, so we’ve made it easier for you by using AI to provide suggestions for shortening your questions while making it clear what you’re asking based on the data our models have learned from other typeforms.  This feature will appear when you type a question that has more than ten words. Take a peek at how it works below!  To use this feature, when ten or more words are typed into a question, three little purple stars will appear.   Then, a newly generated question will appear. You can accept or reject this suggestion.   And that’s it! As always, let us know what you think of this feature in the comments thread below.  

Happy official summertime, Typeform Community! And with summer comes, a boatful of new features. Our latest one, the Lead Qualification block, will help you  save some time so you can be out in the sun while the leads roll in.  If you work in any B2B company, you know that some leads are better than others. Instead of wasting time trying to figure out which leads to contact first, we’ve lightened the workload for you. With the Lead Qualification block, you can set scoring based on answers to specific questions on your form and then send customized responses according to the lead score.   Getting started is easy! All you have to do is:  First, add the “Lead Qualification” block to your form.  You can do this by clicking the + button on the upper-lefthand corner of the builder.  Next, assign scores to the relevant question answers.  You can assign scores to some or all of the questions on your form, depending on how you have decided your lead scoring.   Finally, create follow-up actions 

Back in December, we teased that a new version of the Mailchimp would be released in January, and I’m happy to announce V2 is here! The updated integration is packed with new features and updates to existing ones, so let’s dive in.  Or, if you’d rather, watch the short video here for a quick walkthrough:   Shorter setup No more sifting through multiple pages. Now, you can set up the Mailchimp integration in one go. Authenticate your connection to Mailchimp, choose your audience, and map fields fast.   Tag responses Previously, you could only tag an entire question, regardless of how the respondent answered the form. If you already received an email informing you about an update to our Google Drive integration, this is old news to you but still important news! Our product team has updated the Google Drive integration with lots of new features. You’ll need to update your current connection to the new version (labeled V2) by June 16th, 2023 in order to continue sending files to your Google Drive account.  Watch the video to learn more about what new features you can expect or scroll through them below. If you’re embedding your form in an email or on a website, you may have had a tricky time figuring out how to actually do that. Typeform Community, we’re strolling into summer hot with new updates! (Yes, bad joke, I know.) Many of you have requested variations for viewing the forms in your workspace, and our research and development team have delivered!  Currently, the default view is a grid view like this:     From now on, all new Typeform accounts will now have a list view as a default like this:   The best part about this update is you’ll see even more information about your forms at a glance, including the number of questions, responses, the completion rate, when the form was last updated, and the connected integrations! If you don’t have the list view as your default yet, you can quickly toggle between the two views like this:   As always, let us know if you have any feedback or comments in the thread below.

Hola hola Typeform community! Our product team released a new setting to your form that you may find in handy if your respondents need the ability to scroll through required questions before answering them. The previous behavior of our forms forced the respondent to answer a required question before navigating to the next. Now, with this new toggle, you can allow your respondents to move past a required question to view all questions on the form and return back to it when they’re ready to provide an answer.  It’s a quick toggle on/off to adjust this setting.  I’ve also made a handy video below so you can see how this feature works.   As always, drop any feedback or comments in the thread below. 

The product team has dropped a fancy new design feature—rounded corners! It’s super easy to set up.  When you utilize this feature in your forms, it automatically changes the corners for all the answer options.  Follow the steps to add this feature to your forms or watch the video below.   If you’d like to adjust the corners for one form: Click on Design → Name of the theme you want to edit   Next, scroll down to rounded corners and choose which type you’d like your answer options to have.  Finally, publish the changes to your form.   If you’d like to adjust the corners for the theme in your brand kit:  First, click Design → Brand Kit. Then, choose the theme you’d like to edit.     Next, scroll down to the rounded corners option and choose your preference   Finally, save the changes so they’re live on every form using that theme.    As always, let us know how you use this design feature and drop any comments or feedback in the thread below! 

February may have flown by, but our R&D team were still able to release a couple of very welcome improvements! These features were requested by you, our community members, so give yourselves a pat on the back for the great recommendations! Let’s dive into everything that we released this month: Disable Autosave In most situations, allowing your respondent to start their Typeform and return to it later is a great feature. However, if you have your form in a public setting on one device many people will use, disabling autosave prevents respondents from seeing the data others left behind.  Check out the video below to learn how to use this feature or read our help center article here.   Hide/Show Letters on Answers This month also welcomes the ability to remove the letter hints on questions. New year, new Typeform features! That’s the saying….right?  Our product team hit the ground running at the start of January with a lot of improvements to existing integrations and features. If you’re just returning to working on your typeforms, many of these features will come in handy for you! Happy mid-February, Typeform community! If you’re using Typeform in a kiosk-like mode or having multiple people fill out the form on a single device, you might find our feature that saves answers in the browser until the form is submitted a bit challenging. Our product team heard your feedback and released the ability to turn this feature off. It’s as easy as clicking a toggle!Take a peek at how this feature works in the video below:  

Our product team heard your feedback on logic jumps and have released a small but mighty update. If you have a logic jump set up on a question, but there is no default jump (aka, “in all other cases” rule), the question will automatically be set to required. If you would like to remove the requirement, you just need to add an option for all other cases. This update stops the previous issue in which the submit button would show earlier than expected.  Take a peek at how the newly updated feature works below by our very own @Yuri  from the Typeform Product Team.   As always, let us know your thoughts on this feature and any feedback you have!

It’s a great day, Typeform Community, because a feature that many of you have requested is here: the ability to remove letters on answer options! On questions such as Multiple Choice, Legal, Yes/No or Picture Choice, those pesky letters marked every single one of your answer options. Now, you can remove those with the switch of a toggle.  Watch the video below to see how, or follow the steps underneath. Our help center article here is also a great reference.   First, go to your form settings.  Next, toggle the button for “Letters on Answers” either on or off, depending on your preference.   And voila! Kicking off the start of the year with some brand new (and much awaited!) features to our Share page. Our product team gathered all your feedback and redesigned the Share page to help you share your forms more easily on your website and emails.  A few highlights of the new Share Panel features are:   Easier navigation. Choose your embed on the left and view the design options on the right.     Quickly navigate all the web page embed options with the code automatically updated. No more editing the code yourself. We’ll do it for you!   Hidden fields are now automatically passed through to your embed so you don’t need to dig through the embed code.    If you’re using the Hubspot integration or Google Analytics integration, we’ll also automatically add these options to any embed codes you generate so tracking will be a cinch. Hi, it’s Liz and we’re excited to introduce…. Drumroll please…. Our new Calendly app! You’ve all been asking, and it’s finally here! Calendly is our first in-app integration, which you can add directly into your form as you build it. Now you can ask all the questions you like and have your respondents set up an appointment with you directly within your Typeform, via Calendly's appointment scheduling platform.  So now there's no need to send people to another web page or redirect them outside of your form to schedule a call or virtual meeting!  Wondering what an in-app integration is? Instead of heading to the “Connect” panel, you can add your Calendly event into the form just as you would any other question.   How to add the Calendly app to a typeform To add a Calendly event to your form:   Click the + button in the form builder and scroll down to “Appointments.” Next, authenticate the integration by connecting to your Calendly account.  Then, select the event type you’d like to ad
