VideoAsk conversations

Is it possible to set a videoask such that, if a user quits midway, they can return to their latest position in that videoask when they access it again? Note: I wrote ‘typeform’ in the title but mean ‘videoask’ and can’t change the post’s title.

I need to know who completed the flow and who abandoned it.At the end I have an NPS form, so whoever arrived at it completed the flow.Is there a way to retrieve the data of those who went through this step and send it to my CRM?

Hi,After uploading a video (file), the colors of the video that I see in VideoAsk are much different than in the original video. This no longer seems natural. Can someone please help me with this?Tx and kind regards, Anja 

I’m unable to change from my Macbooks default camera and mic to the external ones connected. They show up in the menu but nothing happens when I click them. Things I’ve tried:Cleared cache and cookies Tried a different browser (had the same issue) Check Loom and Zoom; both were able to switch to the external cam and mic Any help would be awesome!

Hi,I have an existing Web App that has its own user (contact in VideoAsk terms) creation infrastructure.As part of the onboarding process, users will first sign up in the existing app, and then will be asked to provide video answers via the VideAsk embedded iframe.Once all video answers are collected and transcoded, I want to downloaded the video answers and connect them to the existing user via the web app’s DB. This will be done via a the form_response web hook.I thought of one of these ways to complete the integration, but I have a few gaps in each one of them, and would love to get your thoughts on how to overcome these gaps:Create the VideoAsk contact via the https://api.videoask.com/respondents API, and then pass the contact ID to the VideoAsk iframe ==> Missing gap here: Does the iframe support such an option? If so, what is the URL parameter name? I will pass my Web App’s user ID to the VideoAsk iframe; VideoAsk will create the contact, and then the web hook will get this ID

I run a membership community and I want to send an onboarding videoask to all new members with 4 steps they have to complete. Each step has its own external link and I’d love to be able to explain in each step with a video why each step matters.I’ve not found the best way to execute this. Each step has a link that leads them to sign up somewhere else but I want them to always come back to it every time they complete that task.My idea was also to integrate this into the email sequence they’ll receive after joining the community. I use MailerLite Classic but I’m considering switching to FloDesk.

I am a "Brand" user of "VideoAsk". I designed a VideoAsk with 8 videos and published it on my Wix website.I had only 6 interactions with those videos and I got this message: "This 'videoask' is no longer accepting new answers"Did any of you have a similar problem? Does anyone have any best use cases for integrating a VideoAsk into paid ads? Is there a smart way to integrate a VideoAsk into Google Ads, Facebook Ads, etc?

Hi guys, I wanted to understand if it's possible that when a user clicks a button in VideoAsk, they can be redirected to another URL. For example, in the video it says, 'Click the button to view our website,' and it takes them directly to the website. Is this possible?

HiI am new to VideoAskI try to upload a a video (100 mb).The system says “file ok” but can not finishing the upload I have tried starting from scratch + tried use af already made form - but still no uploading... 

Hi,there. I have linked the Video Ask answers to be uploaded to Google Spreadsheet. There was no back button in Video Ask, so I had to link to the URL to return to the previous question.Going back to the previous question and re-answering it will not be reflected in Google Spreadsheets, but the initial answer will be uploaded.Can you make it so that Google Spreadsheets are overwritten with new answers?   

Can I set different timings for individual buttons rather than all at once? I need to add a "back button" because it's not a default feature in VideoAsk.

I have a lengthy Videoask form that takes between 30 - 45 minutes to complete. The chances that people will complete the entire form in one sitting is slim so I had to break the form into 6 sections with each section being a separate form. All 6 forms were connected via the redirect function. Now the challenge is - while I am able to capture the client’s name and email on the 1st form, and have this sent to the 2nd form using variables, the name and email are not passed on to the 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th forms and that information is important otherwise it would be impossible to distinguish client responses. Is there a way around this? 

How long does VideoAsk retain videos recorded by respondents?

I have build a videoask but i want to go to the next step automatically if the user doesn't click any of the options.  Here is the link to the videoask: videoaskSo i'ts a lineair build. So it has to go from step one to step two if the user doens't take any action.  

The “Before you go….” page is too generic and will suffer from lower conversion rates. Can I customize the text on the contact info capture page? It is too generic. I'd love to be able to tie things in from the previous selection. After they click ….   “Great! We'll send you info on these _______ programs (or whatever)__ to the email address you provide below.”Is this available in the paid version? I can’t seem to find this in the help.  Thanks!

Hi, I am using videoASK as an integrated solution into my wordpress website - my videoask has multiple steps and i would like to save the responses to my DB as a unified video(combined form multiple responses) one video for each user. can i collect a multi step videoASK reponse as a single video or must the concatination be perfromed with external SW solution? In order to save the videoASK responses to the DB assiciatd with my website - must i first download the the responses and than upload to my DB or is there a way to save them directly to my DB?Thank you in advance!

Hi  in my videoASK i will need to ask a question for which i woudl want to allow the user about 8 min to provide a response - using the template, i can not set the response time to over 3 minutes , can i ovveride this via API or another method?
