Hi all 👋I was wondering if the team could give us either an update (or a sneak peek) on what features are coming next to VideoAsk! I check the ‘Product Updates’ page pretty much daily to see what new things are on the horizon 😅I also thought it would be good to have a discussion with other community members around what features/ideas you’d like to see come to the VideoAsk platform?(apologies if there is another thread with this topic - I couldn’t seem to find one)

Here is the purpose of me using videoask. Every month we release an internal sales newsletter and would like to feature a “seller of the month” section which spotlights a seller sharing their story on particular “win” or challenge they overcame to either gain new business, additional business or even retaining a customer. We do not want to interact with our audience but rather leverage this to send to the seller of the month recording their responses to questions asked. Is this possible to do? Send a video ask to the seller of the month asking them a series of questions where they can then record themselves and video ask puts it together? ThanksIf this is not the right platform please let me know. 

Hi, I’m using videoask to place an interactive educative video on my page, where users decide which of the offered questions they ask to experts.. I’m not collecting any inputs from my users. After one year I checked the dashboard and the results: obviously it didn’t track at all how many users viewed or interacted with my videoask.And yes. It’s been definitely more than zero. Is there something I forgot to activate? 

Hi, it’s only my first day exploring VideoAsk, but since I’m such an organisation-freak this is bugging me right away.I selected a few templates that I wanted to try out and put them in a folder, but they’re displayed in the order that they were created and there’s no apparent way to re-organise them - dragging them to a new order doesn’t work and there’s nothing in the three dots menu either.It’s not a problem right now while I’m just trying it out but what about when I have a lot more VideoAsks?Things are going to get real messy and frustrating further down the line I think. I want to arrange them in a 1, 2, 3 order instead of 3, 2, 1. 

I tried to add my Website @URL to the end of my video ask and I get the message:“This URL looks invalid” But it is definitely my URL???

I have a problem with our website’s VideoAsk. Whenever I entered a specific email with different name, it is getting a different name when I check the entries. Not sure why is this happening. Need help to fix this. example:when I use this email noemail@noemail.com with name “Itzel Test chat”, it will always reflect “Jessica” on the backend results. I think it gets the previous data with the same email but different name. Also I already deleted that “Jessica” with same email on the backend results.

Right now my multiple choices are hitting their limit at 140, and I understand that for a lot of Videoasks that works, but in the educational space, it would be nice to have at least 200. Are there any plans for increasing the character limit or workarounds when I have 7-9 multiple choice options, with 3 of them going over 140 characters?

Does VideoAsk have a way for a user to click a button and it opens up their messaging app with a word in it? Like they click a button and it opens the messaging app with “1111” in the phone number portion and “CONNECT” in the message body.

Hi there.  I feel like I am probably missing something obvious, but… isn’t there a way to lead to alternate VideoAsk ending screens?  I can’t seem to locate the button or option to select an alternate ending screen based on a multiple choice selection. I am allowing people to indicate if they want something sent to them.  Obviously the end screen needs to say something like “Thanks! It’s on the way.” or “Thanks for responding” if they don’t want it sent.What am I missing? 

I made some videos through VideoAsk, but I have a question. Is it possible to change the location of the subtitles? I mainly use VideoAsk in a mobile environment, but the answer selection button is located above the subtitles, so it is inconvenient to see the subtitles.   Can i make it play right away without pressing the play button on the first video? Several users who have seen my videoAsk have given feedback that they wish the first video would play right away.   Is it possible to prevent users from downloading my VideoAsk videos? Now you can right-click on the video to download it easily. Can't i prevent this? Are these features available now, and if not, will they be updated in the future?

Hi, We use VideoAsk in our product and we would need to limit the number of take an applicant can do for a given question.At the moment, we can only limit the video length.Is it something you are planning to add soon? Thank you team,Ben

Can Testimonial videos received from clients, can they be downloaded for use elsewhere and to have a copy of the raw footage or at least the same quality as when received.

I am asking a question on VideoAsk to my following. When they press the ‘text’ button to reply (on a mobile) to the question I have asked, the questions disappears with the video so I am conscious they may want to refer back to the written question I have asked. Is this possible? Or do i have to hope they remember the exact question I ask?

Hey there, I have created an opt in form using the pop ups from elementor and I want to transfer the variable (lead details) from the pop up form to videoask.I read up on how to do it but was unsuccessful.Any advice on this?

We have the Consent Field marked to show in videoask, but not required to enable/check. If the visitor does check it, we want to pass it to a website. We can do this with the other form fields ( https://www.videoask.com/help/tracking/360044540211-how-to-use-variables ) - I am not seeing ‘consent’ when I try to access the variable list when I hit ‘@’ when I build the redirect link. Any ideas? 

Hi guys,just a quick question!Am I mistaken or is there a change in the contact collection function?I was unter the impression that when the function is enabled on a step it is forced to the contact form after clicking a button on the same step. Step send Text - form and get info - write text - sendsame for audio message and video call NOW it is:Stef send text - type text - click send - send - fill in form Do I have to change any settings I did not have to before?I need the fill in contact form before making the video call, before sending the text… Looking forward to your help.Many thanks,Patrick

What is video ask? And how does it operates?

When a user completes my videoask and enters their email address, the user is never added to the videoask Contact list. This problem started withing the last 12 hours. Is there a known issue?

We have a Video Ask embed on this page - it gets embedded in a more mobile-layout due to the two-column layout of the page:https://america250.org/share-your-story/Right now, the blue 'Video', 'Audio' and 'Text' buttons only show after you click 'Play' on the video.We're finding users are having trouble knowing they can share - is it possible to show those buttons on the screen even before the user hits the 'play' button on the video with this setup?  

Hellois it possible to have a chatGPT logic in Polish language - via text or microphone? I saw a note  Currently English is the only language supported by GPT-3 AI. If you would like to use this feature in another language, you can do so only with keyword matching. r What does it really mean that keyword matching? Is GTP-3.5 in a road map?

How do I change the URL for my video? I am getting bombarded with submissions from “human” or “anonymous”. I just want to be able to refresh or change the URL so I can avoid old customers from access it after they already completed the form.

This doesn’t look like something we can do natively….would it be possible if we were to use the API? We want people to use the Vidoeask platform to make booking enquiries. Thanks for any gudance!

Have i missed something?  i have added the ?hideplay to my link, including & between other hidden features but the play button is still visible

I’m using multiple choice questions together with video responses and would like to stop asking multiple choice questions and jump to the video questions when/ if a respondents accumulative score is equal to or less than a determined amount. Is this possible? For example, if by the time we get to question number ten the respondent has answered 5 incorrectly, they would jump/ skip the subsequent multiple choice questions and advance to the end. Thanks in advance for any help!

Does anyone know how to manipulate the buttons and multiple choice answers so that they don’t show up until the end of the video? I have a “Continue” button on my very first video in my funnel but I don’t want people to be able to click it until I say everything I have to say. Same goes for every other video in my funnel.
