2023 has gotten off to a great start with lots of new features, updates to existing ones, and plenty of form-building activity amongst you all. Nothing like starting off the new year with sparkling new forms! With that, let’s dive into January: Since the beginning of 2023, we’ve had 770 new folks join the community, bringing us to a total of 21,609 members. 110 of you were VideoAsk users - yay! 220 conversations were started, with 635 likes handed out 126,313 visitors stopped by the community and 69,364 of those were unique views. Here are some of the highlights from last month: @Grace published our first VideoAsk Voyagers of the year showcasing Miguel Bautista’s collection of forms used for lead qualification and video diaries. Thinking about the people who power our businesses today. We all want to bring our best self to work, but there are so many things that get in the way, so many friction points, and so much politics and ego to wade through.But it doesn’t have to be that way.Employees are people, too. If we give the same attention EX as we do to UX, and help people do their best work despite the challenges and obstacles in their way, we would’ve done a great thing for the overall bottom-line, sure -- but people also leave their workday behind with a sense of pride and accomplishment, thus impacting their home and community as an extension of a company’s potential impact.#peoplefirst

Hello! I am a high school student in Northern Colorado. I am enrolled in a class which requires me to create and complete a research study. My chosen topic of inquiry is into the impact of Generative Artificial Intelligence on the fictional novel publishing industry. To broaden the scopes of my research, I want to include prospectives from those who are actively creating the technology. The questionnaire is only five minutes, and volunteers have to fill out an informed consent form beforehand to ensure their awareness of the project and its intentions. The weather was gloomy for many of us around the world in April, but our new features weren’t! This month, for example, we welcomed a brand new eCommerce integration, Square and some fancy updates to our logic map. Let’s dive into the numbers from last month. Since April, we’ve had 880 new members join, bringing us to a total of 14,270 users. 64 of you were VideoAsk users - yay! 217 conversations were started, handing out 1963 likes along with it. 72,765 visitors stopped by the community and 29,504 of those were unique views. 64.80% of questions were answered - yay for answers! Does anyone know where January went? I don’t! January flew by, and we’re already a month into the year. It seems like many of you came back from the holiday season ready to start off this year with a bang, diving right into your forms and finding all the use cases for them! This month we welcomed Grace to the Community team, who comes from VideoAsk support and now will be creating plenty of wonderful content for you to make even better use of your VideoAsk accounts. Does Typeform or Videoask help in analysing the research feedback using AI?
Does anybody else have issues with Typeform today? It took triple time to create a form today….I change the name of a button, published, looked like all is good. I go to preview and it does not appear changed.I copy paste some sentences, published, refreshed the page. When I preview - it has reverted to the version before the copy-paste. I go out of preview. Yep, the copy paste text has magically disappeared. Basically no sentence or word that i copy into typeform gets saved. I add a link to a sentence and should be one continuous underline, it just randomly breaks the line after the first word. Now it looks like there are 2 different links instead of one. Am i alone with these?
Deleted a typeform by mistake and now I have a typeform advert on my website where the form was embedded until my dev team come on line monday morning , what do I do?

Can you please explain how typeform branding is a professional service?I am hesitant to take the professional plan as there is still typeform branding and it does not look professional service for my clients. It makes my clients think I am using a free version and they laught about it.I know your premium service removes the branding, but thrice the price is just too much for small companies like us.Let me know Pavan

Hi, I am making a simple form that people can choose from picture. These are the steps. picture selection of color shape of the table(every shape has different number of seats) for example they choose round shape I made a different answer that shows seating capacity of that shape 2,3,5,6,10 and for rectangle when they choose it will show 2,4,6,8 number of seater and the last step is to show the checklist of what they choose from color, shape. The problem is when I put the variable @ for 3 different shape seats, it show _ _ _ 8 _ (is there other way to make this show without the blanks?
If we have to remove obsolete questions, we first put them off the happy path in the Logic screen. These questions have no incoming branch. Once we test the survey, we can proceed with removing these questions.Issue: There is no delete option on the steps in the Logic screen.Current delete method: We have to switch to the Content screen. When in the content screen, it’s not easy to to tell if we are going to delete the same question that we identified in the Logic screen (trust me, it’s scary!). I have to switch between the Content and Logic screen multiple times just to make sure I am deleting the right one.Ask: Provide delete (trash icon) functionality on each of the steps in the Logic screen, so the user can remove that content while in that Logic screen itself without having to switch to the Content screen.
We currently use a WordPress site as a lightweight LMS (Learning Management System), and within that site we have a plugin called PDF Importer for WPForm Pro. That plugin allows us to capture responses in a webform and map specific answers to specific fields within an existing PDF. That existing PDF has a whole lot of logic and calculations within it that automate what used to be very time intensive manual entries.We use this extensively and it has absolutely revolutionized the way we handle many day to day needs across our company.We are looking at moving away from that WordPress LMS into a fully featured LMS, but none of them have the capability to fill this need for us, so I’m beginning to explore alternative methods for keeping these functions alive.This very much seems like something that would make sense to bake into Typeform, so I figured I would bring it up here in hopes of it maybe being implemented at some point down the road.
