Bye 2021, hello 2022! 💫

Hello my friends! The holiday season is here and I couldn't be more excited about it! It's time to reflect on 2021 and think of goals for 2022. 2021 was very important to Typeform. Our Community is one of the highlights of this year, so we'd like to thank you for that! Thank you for bringing so much knowledge, insights and empathy to our Community. We hope that, together, we can achieve even more next year! The highlight of 2021 for me was joining the Typeform family! I've learned so much here and I can't wait to learn more with you next year. December Community Round Up ❄️

If you celebrate the holiday season, happy holidays to you! Otherwise, happy winter season and nearly new year! I think most of us can agree that we’re about ready for this year to be over. Gabriel has entrusted me with these lovely roundups each month. Why he still trusts me, I’m not sure, but regardless, the past few months have been quite active. From tricky logic jumps to creative typeform use-cases to friendly conversations in the Barception , it’s been a great way to end the year and get inspired for the next one. Since November, we had 822 new members join, and we’re currently at a total of 10,109 creators. 991 conversations were started by our members and 920 likes were handed out. 71,784 visitors stopped by the community - 31,739 of those unique views. 72.87% of questions had an answer - yay! Hi folks Happy 5K day in the community. We just reached 5,000 members and it’s time for a little celebration Back in January we were just 300 hundred people in here so it’s been fun to see the community grow in the past few months. I’ve recorded a little video for y’all. Our main mission since launch is to make sure you are not alone when building your typeforms. So, if you have a question and/or you hit a roadblock, here we are for you This community is full of natural born helpers, so I encourage you all to share with the community any struggles you may find when using Typeform. [Meaningful Mondays] Episode 8: David Aakermeaningful

At a higher level, the show is about brand. There are many components that make up a meaningful brand, but few understand this at the level of David Aaker. David’s written 17 books on brand, and an 18th is on its way. It’s rare to sit with someone with such a depth of knowledge and understanding on a topic area, and all the intricacies of becoming meaningful deliberately (yes, you as a solo or as an employee can do this). The Professor seamlessly weaves the core pillars of a meaningful brand (functional, personal, and collective benefits) into this conversation because he gets what a meaningful brand is at its core. [Meaningful Mondays] Episode 7: Chris DoMeaningful

At some point, you realize that doing content the same old way that everyone else does it just won’t get it done. As products have flooded the marketplace, and competitors are more than happy to copy every feature and design you have, you realize you need something more. In the Meaningful Brands framework, you begin with a solid product/service. You have to deliver here, even if you have copycats (or perhaps you’re the copycat) following your every move. The next area of this framework is delivering more “personal” benefits, something beyond the product. This is Chris Do’s expertise. It’s why he’s an influencer of influencers. And he does it with amazing content. Chris puts it more succinctly: “offer more than just transactions, offer transformation.” Content done well has the ability to do that. August Community Roundup ​​​​

Fall is here, and so is our August Community Roundup! @Gabriel ’s time off last month really must have suited him well because he’s entrusting this post again to me. We’ll see how long this lasts. August may have seemed quiet with many of us out on holiday, but it certainly wasn’t quiet in the Community! We had 782 new users last month, bringing us to a grand total of 7219 by the end of August. 939 posts were created by our users and 868 likes were given. Holy guacamole! That’s more than the 790 likes handed out in July. Nice work, all! 54,938 folks visited the Community - 17,959 of those being unique. Another increase from July! 84.03% of questions had an answer. April Community Round Up 🌸

Happy spring folks! The sun has finally started to shine (for real) here in Barcelona - I'm therefore happy to confirm that I’m not intending to wear a jacket until November. Mind you, I'm from the rainy part of Spain so anything above 25 degrees celsius feels like summer to me. Catalans on the other hand are still wearing down jackets - that’s the way you can identify the ‘locals’ at this time of the year. If someone is wearing shorts in May at 25 degrees you know they are from Northern Europe and North America. Talking of this, did you know that our community colours represent the sun and light of Barcelona? This was a really cool idea by the chaps at Brand Studio (aka Typeform’s design team). The T and the F are our ‘official community logo’ and they are actually engaging in a conversation: April was our community month no. 3 - we launched on January the 26th, so I'm not counting January. towards our age Officially I consider April as the end of our ‘launch stage’. Happy August everyone! July was a huge month for us, not just because it’s summer or because the community was active, but because I celebrated a birthday. That’s all that really matters. JUST kidding. Since @Gabriel is finally taking a holiday, I’m chiming in to give you all the roundup of July. I’ll try my best not to poke fun at @Gabriel since he’s away and can’t defend himself. We had 767 new members join last month - woot! June Community Round Up 🦎

Happy July community 🌞 June’s Round Up comes a little late - things have been particularly busy at Typeform in the past weeks and it was hard to find a few minutes to sit down and reflect about the past month 🧘🏽‍♂️ Perhaps the most important event of the last month was my birthday 🤣 My wife bought me cheese and wine (like every year) and my son made a very artistic drawing which I find ‘marvellous’. No idea what it means though. Luca's drawing I can’t confirm this information, but I heard that once Picasso said: I t took me four years to paint like Raphael, but a lifetime to paint like a child. Needless to say, my son already has better painting skills than me. June was Pride Month and that’s possibly the most remarkable thing about last month - not my birthday. Shout out to our very own @Pep Sanz who wrote this great post in the community. A PROUD interaction - Celebrating Pride at TypeformPride

We’re ‘the fun’ people. Or, at least, that’s what other departments think of us, the Employee Engagement Specialists at Typeform. As much as we love that label; for us, engagement goes beyond that. This often involves raising awareness of important issues along with other teams for the company and the employees. With these efforts, we want to create a space where meaningful conversations can happen. Pride Month is one of the topics we need to raise awareness for. It is an opportunity to embrace and celebrate diversity. It is also a moment to reflect and realize society still has a long way to go. Diversity is much more than changing a company's logo colours for a month. Typeform believes that a company should actively promote diversity and enable employees to be their true selves at work.
