We’re super excited to learn more from all our new VideoAsk creators, if you have any questions about getting started in the community feel free to post them in the thread here, and if you’re ready to dive in and get involved check out VideoAsk conversations and browse our Inspiration library for the latest product digests, guides and info on webinars and events!

Hello amigo@s, I want to give you all a quick update regarding upcoming changes to the community content structure. As some of you may know, we’ll soon be welcoming VideoAsk creators to our community. This means amongst other things: Ability to sign up to the community with both Typeform and VideoAsk accounts (enabled already) Look and feel improvements (enabled already). Community categories to be structured by product. (coming soon). Updates to navigation menu (coming soon). New Inspiration Library (coming soon). New Product Updates area split by product (coming soon). Updates to onboarding and community guides to cater for users of both products. I’ve recorded a little video to take you through some of the most visible changes. Does anyone know where January went? I don’t! January flew by, and we’re already a month into the year. It seems like many of you came back from the holiday season ready to start off this year with a bang, diving right into your forms and finding all the use cases for them! This month we welcomed Grace to the Community team, who comes from VideoAsk support and now will be creating plenty of wonderful content for you to make even better use of your VideoAsk accounts. If you have a form you’d like to show-off, drop it in the comments here! On that note, on with the good stuff! Since December 2021 we have had 1586 new members join, and we’re currently at a total of 11,287 creators. (New year, new you, new typeforms!) 455 conversations were started by our members and 1620 likes were handed out. 127,369 visitors stopped by the community and 53,347 of those were unique views. 78.54% of questions had an answer - yay! You can now sign up to the Community through your Typeform or VideoAsk account! If you’re already a community member you’ll spot the difference next time you log in to your account (make sure you continue to log in the same way you always do ) VideoAsk users will now be able to join the community without needing to have a Typeform account too, just log in with your VideoAsk account and create your user name to join! Keep an eye out for more changes coming in the Community as we begin to invite VideoAsk customers to join us…

If you celebrate the holiday season, happy holidays to you! Otherwise, happy winter season and nearly new year! I think most of us can agree that we’re about ready for this year to be over. Gabriel has entrusted me with these lovely roundups each month. Why he still trusts me, I’m not sure, but regardless, the past few months have been quite active. From tricky logic jumps to creative typeform use-cases to friendly conversations in the Barception , it’s been a great way to end the year and get inspired for the next one. Since November, we had 822 new members join, and we’re currently at a total of 10,109 creators. 991 conversations were started by our members and 920 likes were handed out. 71,784 visitors stopped by the community - 31,739 of those unique views. 72.87% of questions had an answer - yay! Hi folks Happy 5K day in the community. We just reached 5,000 members and it’s time for a little celebration Back in January we were just 300 hundred people in here so it’s been fun to see the community grow in the past few months. I’ve recorded a little video for y’all. Our main mission since launch is to make sure you are not alone when building your typeforms. At a higher level, the show is about brand. There are many components that make up a meaningful brand, but few understand this at the level of David Aaker. David’s written 17 books on brand, and an 18th is on its way. It’s rare to sit with someone with such a depth of knowledge and understanding on a topic area, and all the intricacies of becoming meaningful deliberately (yes, you as a solo or as an employee can do this). The Professor seamlessly weaves the core pillars of a meaningful brand (functional, personal, and collective benefits) into this conversation because he gets what a meaningful brand is at its core. At some point, you realize that doing content the same old way that everyone else does it just won’t get it done. As products have flooded the marketplace, and competitors are more than happy to copy every feature and design you have, you realize you need something more. In the Meaningful Brands framework, you begin with a solid product/service. You have to deliver here, even if you have copycats (or perhaps you’re the copycat) following your every move. The next area of this framework is delivering more “personal” benefits, something beyond the product. This is Chris Do’s expertise. It’s why he’s an influencer of influencers. And he does it with amazing content. Chris puts it more succinctly: “offer more than just transactions, offer transformation.” Content done well has the ability to do that. Fall is here, and so is our August Community Roundup! @Gabriel ’s time off last month really must have suited him well because he’s entrusting this post again to me. We’ll see how long this lasts. August may have seemed quiet with many of us out on holiday, but it certainly wasn’t quiet in the Community! We had 782 new users last month, bringing us to a grand total of 7219 by the end of August. 939 posts were created by our users and 868 likes were given. Holy guacamole! That’s more than the 790 likes handed out in July. Nice work, all! 54,938 folks visited the Community - 17,959 of those being unique. Another increase from July! 84.03% of questions had an answer. Happy spring folks! The sun has finally started to shine (for real) here in Barcelona - I'm therefore happy to confirm that I’m not intending to wear a jacket until November. Mind you, I'm from the rainy part of Spain so anything above 25 degrees celsius feels like summer to me. Catalans on the other hand are still wearing down jackets - that’s the way you can identify the ‘locals’ at this time of the year. If someone is wearing shorts in May at 25 degrees you know they are from Northern Europe and North America. Talking of this, did you know that our community colours represent the sun and light of Barcelona? This was a really cool idea by the chaps at Brand Studio (aka Typeform’s design team). The T and the F are our ‘official community logo’ and they are actually engaging in a conversation: April was our community month no. 3 - we launched on January the 26th, so I'm not counting January. towards our age Officially I consider April as the end of our ‘launch stage’. Happy August everyone! July was a huge month for us, not just because it’s summer or because the community was active, but because I celebrated a birthday. That’s all that really matters. JUST kidding. Since @Gabriel is finally taking a holiday, I’m chiming in to give you all the roundup of July. I’ll try my best not to poke fun at @Gabriel since he’s away and can’t defend himself.
