Hello,  We would like to prompt Videoask to appear as a floating widget when a Call-to-Action button is clicked on our website. Currently, clicking the Call-to-Action button prompts Videoask to appear in a new web page. Ive included the Current and Preferred scenario below. https://affiliatemybusiness.com/staging20/Current Scenario 1. Hey, we've had some feedback that the replaying gif on the corner of the website is annoying on mobile. Is there a way that users can remove it? I can explain it and close the playing video but no way of closing the small circle. I can't find the option. Thanks so much! Merv 😊

Hi all, I’m developing a website and my customer wants to use videoask during the onboarding procedure (when an invited user enter in the website for the first time). In this phase, the user fills various fields like name, job, and so on, and, at the end, he should record a video with some information about him. My customer ask me to do it by using VideoAsk. After recording the video, I have to store something (I think some reference to the video) in my DB, so other users in the community can see the video.How to do this by VideoAsk?Thanks!

I’ve gone ahead and added my Facebook pixel to one of my video asks, and I’d like to be able to create a conversion event when someone submits their contact information.What’s the next step here? I’m not sure how to create a custom conversion event with VideoAsk - thank you!

Hello again there,  I have a question regarding the fullscreen format.Why doesn't it open correctly when using the iframe integration in fullscreen mode? Hello community,We are moving one of our clients’ websites into Go High Level and she’s using VideoAsk with the calendar feature.I researched and found that you cannot connect a GHL calendar to that.The instructions were to use the button answer type and link the calendar URL. Would anyone be able to point me in the right direction of where I would find a step by step process in changing the "answer calendar type" to using the "button answer type?"Even better, if you would share a Loom video on how to do it, I would be eternally grateful!I am logged in as my client, so please, if you can help, send me the Loom to Lucho@WhatWorksAcademy.comI am not familiar with VideoAsk, but if you ever need help with GHL, I would be more than glad to return the favor!

Hi Team, Our webhook was working fine till 2nd of October but after that we are getting blank response through the Webhook URL for all videoAsk pages.Please look into this as a priority and let us know your feedback on the same.Thanks

Hi everyone, I’m trying to set up a Zap to send data from VideoAsk responses to a table in Airtable, and I’m having trouble with mapping the fields. I see how to map the text field from “All Responses” in the VideoAsk trigger to a long text field in Airtable. However, I don’t see any data coming through in the trigger for the media (audio and video files). Can someone please help? Additionally, is there a way to send each of the text and media responses to a separate field for each question in Airtable, or must they all be sent to the same field? Thanks!!Emily

Hi, We have implemented VideoAsk in our web application, but we are encountering an issue. Whenever a user uploads a VideoAsk video through their webcam, typically around 2 minutes in length, we receive the VideoAsk response via the API using the contact ID. The response provides us with an iframe URL, but when we render this iframe URL, it initially displays a blank screen with the message: "There seems to have been an error with recording or uploading this video/audio." However, after some time, the iframe URL starts showing the video correctly. Could you please advise on how to overcome this issue?

Hi there. I am trying to get scoring to display on my VideoAsk dashboard, but I am not having any luck. I understand the way to implement scoring is advised as advanced logic. I have tested this out and it appears to display different to the help article https://www.videoask.com/help/how-it-works/4416621623188-score-your-respondents-answers (in that there is no “add to score” option as previewed). I am building a videoask for a client that needs the responses to have a monetary value associated relative to the multichoice questions answered.Previously I was using Zapier and then HubSpot’s scoring function to handle the transferral of data to a score and then convert this into a monetary amount that is then sent via email to user. However, the client has cut the HubSpot account as it was too expensive. Ideally I am wanting to extract data from VideoAsk’s scoring to then feed through to Zapier where I can then handle changing that total score into a monetary figure and then automate an e

VideoAsk is integrated as widget. Problem: When the visitor select an item on the second question, the next question appears in fullscreen (without the possible answers). Hi. I connected my GTM container in tag manager to videoask, but nothing happens. There are no events, no pixel, no conversions, there is absolutely nothing in tag manager account or container related to video ask. I need to track leads from google ads, so those who complete the form step, and I cannot find a way it’s unbelievable. Also, UA analytics doesn’t work anymore and GA4 integration is not supported. How any of you is tracking leads from google ads ? I must not be the only one having this problem. 

Hi, I want to exclude videoask from showing on a subdirectory of a site and all the pages that are associated to that subdirectory.I have the code to exclude videoask from specific urls (https://codepen.io/videoaskhelp/pen/wvoPXpj)but I’m not sure how to modify this script so that it excludes the widget from showing on all pages under that sub directory Any help would be greatly appreciated.Thanks!

I am in the process of setting up a HubSpot integration for my VideoAsk. Ideally I am seeing if I can do this via the integration VideoAsk provides, versus Zapier (as there is an associated cost with Zapier to consider). However, when I go to map the fields, it shows a range to choose from (including some that I want). But certainly not all. The properties all come under “Contact Information” in HubSpot. But I am wondering if there is a limit in the display of options provided for the integration? And if so, what the best way is to manage this? Would for example removing some redundant properties that arent being used from HubSpot maybe allow these options to show?Thanks!

Hello community, I'm a huge fan of VideoAsk—it's one of my favourite tools.  I'm now integrating it into a new community platform I'm developing on Circle. My aim is to tailor the onboarding experience for the community members. Specifically, I plan to use VideoAsk to gather preferences from members when they log into the community. Their responses will help funnel them into Circle spaces or groups that match their interests.To make this work, I intend to use known member information, such as their email and name, and append these details into the VideoAsk URL through custom parameters. This approach though leaves me wondering if there's more to it or if I'm missing an important piece of the puzzle. Has anyone here tackled a similar integration or has expertise with this setup?  Thank you in advance!

Hi,I have an existing Web App that has its own user (contact in VideoAsk terms) creation infrastructure.As part of the onboarding process, users will first sign up in the existing app, and then will be asked to provide video answers via the VideAsk embedded iframe.Once all video answers are collected and transcoded, I want to downloaded the video answers and connect them to the existing user via the web app’s DB. This will be done via a the form_response web hook.I thought of one of these ways to complete the integration, but I have a few gaps in each one of them, and would love to get your thoughts on how to overcome these gaps:Create the VideoAsk contact via the https://api.videoask.com/respondents API, and then pass the contact ID to the VideoAsk iframe ==> Missing gap here: Does the iframe support such an option? If so, what is the URL parameter name? I will pass my Web App’s user ID to the VideoAsk iframe; VideoAsk will create the contact, and then the web hook will get this ID
