VideoAsk conversations

My VideoAsk behaves differently on my PC’s Wiindows web browser (Chorme) versus my iphone Chrome browser.In both cases, the first video starts in autoplay (muted until I press the ‘Play’ button.That’s good. On my PC, all the next videos play automatically without having to press ‘Play’. That’s good.However, in the iphone, every video only starts playing after you press ‘Play’.How can I make the 2nd video (and the ones after it) play automatically, without the ‘Play’ button?

Hi, We are looking to use videoask at a fanzone for visitors to leave messages. We only want them to record a message via the touchscreen webcam and not be able to upload pre recorded files from the mini PC that we will be using. Can we remove the toolbar that appears to the top of the screen before record mode?

I'm building out a process to speed up creation of forms (Videoasks). I've consulted the documentation at GetPostman but there are two things I'm having trouble with:Branding - In the Retrieve form by ID action, I can see in the response that there are nested parameters for branding, including branding_id . However, the POST action for new forms does not appear to accept branding_id as a parameter. Is there a way to specify the branding ID of a form (VideoAsk) with the API? Overlay text - In the Retrieve a question action, I am able to see a parameter called “label” which appears to correspond to the overlay text. However, the POST action to Create a question and the PATCH action to Update a question both do not appear to accept “label” as a parameter. Is it possible to specify the Overlay text via the API?

I use learndash to run asynchronous global cohorts. I would like to use videoask as a way to:1. Checking in at the beginning of the course by introducing themselves via videoask.The videoask requests them to do a self introduction. I’d like every response to the videoask to show up on the page where the videoask is. 2 Answering questions/sharing comments.Throughout the course I’d like to ask a question via videoask for participants to reply to and be able to see/hear each other’s answers. I have tried using Zapier, but each time a new reply comes in, it over writes previous replies. How can I set this up?

I am trying to use the "redirect to URL" ending to take users from VideoAsk to typeform. I need to be able to drag the hidden variables appended to the VideoASk URL to the TypeformURL, but those are not showing up as options in the Redirect to a URL dropdown. Is there a way to do this?  

Hi! i would like to know if that is possible to make the first video of my funnel stop at a certain time, ask for the contact info and when they enter it they can continue watching the video. Thanks!

I've recently started using VideoAsk as part of the training within my educational membership. I create a videoask with a question and my members (students) reply with their own videos. This is working great.However, I would like to limit replies-to-replies to just text. So right now:I create the videoask with a question - 👍 Member responds with a video reply - 👍 I reply to the member with feedback - 👍 Member has the option to continue sending videos back to me - 👎I want to stop the back-and-forth video after step 3. So when a member gets a videoask reply from me, I want them to have the option to respond in text or not respond at all. Is that possible?

Hi, I am building my first videoask to put it on my website. I build it but in the mobile view it appears with the button "answer" and then the people need to click on it for selecting one of my option (in the first image i show you how it appears).I want it to show the options and not that button that redirects people in another window, in the second image I show you how i want it to look like and i want it that all happens on the same window.How can i do it?Thank you so much, Antonio. P.S. I have a question regarding uploading the logo. No matter which format I choose from the recommended list, there’s always a blank margin around the logo, making it look small. Is this supposed to happen, or am I doing something wrong? I’d appreciate your thoughts and any solution you might suggest. I've already send the support team an email, but they forwarded me to the page with logo tips, which I already used.Please see the examples below (screenshots). I created each format from the list in Illustrator to test how it would look, but the white space remains with each format.  

New here and trying to find the easiest platform to record, clean up and then add my videos.  I’m a neophyte in this department, but I want my videos to look professional.  Who is using what out there - any AI video recorders that are ideal to make me look like a pro on my video?

Hello, thanks for any input.  I run a digital agency helping local home services businesses.  Essentially, I’d like to embed a welcome video on their website with 3 CTA buttons. The welcome video will be about 40 sec long. The 3 buttons will be Contact Us, Book an Appt, Learn More. The Learn More button will be a 1 min video with 2 CTAs - one button will be to another video 1 min long.  So, each customer will have a VideoAsk of a total of 4 mins of video total if the had a 4th video.  That’s it, per month, per customer.  All videos will be static with no more video consumption minutes needed.  I’d like to have about 50 customers total and a white label ability.  How many minutes requirement per year does this equate to for my agency needs?   2400m / year plan??

Hey,I’m new to video guides and exploring different options. I really like Videoask, but I’m curious if it’s just for embedding videos on landing pages, or if there’s also an option to have a video pop-up? Hello, i have a livecall videoask but when somebody calls, in admin side we do not have any notification. What can we do?

HiI’m doing some testing so I have the free version. When I add a contact form on my last video it also creates a contact form on th first one. If I delete the contact form from the first one it also disappears from the last one. Why is that? Is that a limit only on the free version?  

Hello - I need to understand if a respondent re-records their video, does every re-record count towards my allowances of minutes? I'm conscious a user could re-record multiple times and so my allowance is quickly decreased. I'm hoping just each uploaded/submitted video counts towards minutes processed. Thanks in advance.

I have a video ask that is getting a good amount of traffic. At the end of a tiktok lead form I push the user to record a video ask using the video ask link. Some of the videos come through but a majority of them look like this in my dashboard. Is there a fix for this?  

My thumbnail isn’t showing when I copy and paste the link. I’ve tried everything and it’s not working already for 6 days. Please can you help as I can’t do anything right now with the generic thumbnail. It’s a big part of my work and it makes me really nervous. Thanks 

My video questions loop until answer is entered.Very annoying.How do I stop that?

Could someone explain why I keep getting anonymous replies with no videos. I signed up and created an account yesterday. I sent the link out to loads of people. I've had a few actual videos but the rest keep coming back with the anonymous.response  

+1 request here for the ability to add virtual backgrounds or blurred backgrounds on webcam video recorded uploaded. We are considering moving away from using VideoAsk for customer support, as it does not allow our communication to stay on brand.Moreover, the lack of blurred background option, also doesn’t protect the privacy of those who are attempting to communicate. I understand that backgrounds is on the feature list. Any ETA on its release would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!  

Hi there,Is it possible to copy or share a VideoAsk project from one account to another?I know it's possible to invite someone to a team so they can edit the project, but in this case, I’d like to transfer my current VideoAsk project to a different account.Alternatively, is it possible to export the current project and import it into another account?Note: It’s not about sharing the VideoAsk video results with a user, but rather about sharing the entire project map.Thank you!

Please how to direct to the URL? I paid the account and this function does not enable.
